We offer a 30-day refund window for first-time subscribers, subject to the conditions below.
1. Overview
WP Taskmate ("we," "us," or "our") provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for WordPress site management, monitoring, and AI-powered troubleshooting. This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs refund eligibility and the cancellation process for all paid subscriptions.
By subscribing to WP Taskmate, you agree to this policy. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the criteria outlined below.
2. Subscription Plans
WP Taskmate offers monthly and annual subscription plans. All plans provide immediate access to features upon payment. Our service is delivered instantly, and consumption of the service begins at the time of account activation.
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 First-Time Subscribers (30-Day Window)
If you are a first-time subscriber and request a refund within 30 days of your initial purchase, you may be eligible for a full refund, provided that:
- You have not connected more than 3 WordPress sites to your account
- You have not generated more than 10 AI-assisted reports or scans
- You have not used the Content Pipeline feature to publish or schedule content
- You have not previously received a refund from WP Taskmate under any account
- Your account is in good standing and has not violated our Terms of Service
3.2 Subsequent Billing Cycles
After your first 30 days, or for any subsequent billing cycle (monthly renewals), no refunds are provided. This is because our service provides value immediately upon payment and usage begins instantly.
If you do not wish to continue, you may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
3.3 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions:
- Within 30 days: Full refund available (subject to the usage limits in Section 3.1)
- After 30 days: Prorated refunds may be considered at our sole discretion for unused full months, minus a 15% administrative fee
- No refund will exceed the original payment amount
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:
- The request is made after 30 days from the initial purchase date
- You have exceeded the usage limits specified in Section 3.1
- Your account was suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
- You have abused the refund policy (e.g., repeated sign-ups for refunds, creating multiple accounts)
- You have disputed or charged back the payment without first contacting us
- Technical issues were caused by your WordPress site configuration, hosting provider, or third-party plugins
- You simply "changed your mind" after extensively using the service
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:

- Include your account email address and the invoice/payment ID from your receipt
- Briefly explain the reason for your refund request
We will review your request within 3-5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
- From Dashboard: Go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
- Via Support: Email [email protected]
- Stripe Portal: Manage your subscription directly through our Stripe billing portal
When you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for future billing periods
- Your account will automatically downgrade to the free Starter plan
- You retain access to your data and sites, but with Starter plan limitations
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
⚠️ Important: Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us first at [email protected]. We are committed to resolving any billing issues quickly and fairly.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us, or chargebacks for services that were legitimately used, may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account and all connected sites
- Permanent ban from creating new accounts
- Collection efforts for the disputed amount plus associated fees
- Reporting to fraud prevention services
8. Free Trial & Starter Plan
The Starter plan is free and does not require payment. No refund questions apply to free accounts. If we offer promotional trials, any terms will be communicated at the time of sign-up.
9. Modifications to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of WP Taskmate after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers via email.
